Friday Favorites

Cassie Bonacci - Congrats to Cassie, who just completed her first 1/2 marathon last Sunday in Cincinnati! An avid gym goer, Cassie can often be found sitting atop a stability ball, or simply bouncing them around the gym while others workout around her. She took to running recently, however, and has been training for this race for a awhile now. We are proud of you!

Farmer's Market - The farmer's market returns to Wicker Park this Sunday! I love walking through and loading up on fresh fruits and vegetables for the week, but my favorite vendor is definitely Pasta Pappone! They have such unique flavors of handmade pastas - all natural - and they always pair your purchase with a recipe!

NFL Draft - It's no secret I am a big football girl. I LOVE the NFL! You would think I would be a religious watcher of the draft for that reason alone; however, you would be wrong. Of course I am interested in the real purpose of the event, but the added value of watching is in the INCREDIBLE names that come to light. After round 1, the front runners of 2014 are as follows:

Kevin Durant - This guy.... You just have to watch. Yes, it's 27 minutes long, but it's well worth it. So instead of watching that episode of your favorite 90's sitcom in syndication, watch this. Added bonus: no commercials!

Cleveland - Don't freak out, I don't ACTUALLY think of Cleveland as a favorite. I just cannot wait to watch this beautiful disaster! The only thing better than watching Johnny Manziel NOT get drafted, was watching him get drafted by the Cleveland Browns - and NOT as their #1 pick! This is an actual quote from someone who will remain nameless, but also shares my same sentiments, you are all welcome:

"Manziel is a dick! He belongs in Cleveland. Another mistake on the lake. He is quick, but the pro game will catch up with him. Can't wait to see them grind his little white ass in the ground! He may not make it through training camp w/o his mommy."
